"Uzbekneftegaz" is considering the possibility of purchasing automotive gasoline and diesel fuel from Chinese state giants CNPC and PetroChina. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the state-owned company, Farid Muminov.

The negotiations cover the supply of high-octane gasoline (AI-92 grade and above) and diesel fuel, with the final import volumes to be determined based on domestic demand dynamics. "Uzbekneftegaz" expects that entering the Chinese market will allow diversification of import channels and minimize the risks of fuel supply disruptions in the republic.

In addition to purchasing finished petroleum products, the parties are working on increasing the import of oil and gas condensate for subsequent processing at the Bukhara Refinery.

Issues of long-term supplies and accelerating joint initiatives were discussed by the Chairman of the Board of "Uzbekneftegaz," Abduganie Sanginov, during a meeting with CNPC President Zhou Xinhuai. The total portfolio of cooperation between the two companies—including import contracts, service agreements, and joint projects—has already exceeded $1 billion.
