Uzbekistan Creates $2.7 Billion Portfolio of Medical Investment Projects
Uzbekistan has formed a portfolio of 35 investment projects in the healthcare sector with a total value of $2.7 billion.

The projects include the construction and modernization of hospitals, procurement of medical equipment, and training of specialists. Among the facilities are the National Oncology Center, a neurology and stroke center, and new hospitals in the regions.
Additionally, proposals have been prepared for nine projects worth $1 billion, including the development of emergency care and the renewal of ambulance vehicles.
The country also plans to develop an investment strategy for the development of medical infrastructure until 2040 and expand cooperation with the private sector.
By 2030, the share of services procured by medical institutions through outsourcing is intended to reach 30%. To monitor contracts and service quality, an electronic system called 'Medical Outsourcing' will be created.
