Uzbekistan and SCO States to Develop Water-Saving Agriculture

The report at the roundtable was presented by Bunyodjon Okhunov, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture overseeing economics, innovative development, and investments. He spoke about harnessing the agricultural potential of SCO countries for practical cooperation in water-saving agriculture in arid regions.

The exhibition is taking place in the Chinese city of Yangling in Shaanxi Province. On the opening day, Okhunov attended the ceremony and familiarized himself with technologies, innovative developments, and solutions for the agricultural sector.

Participants discussed water-saving technologies, the sustainability of agricultural production, and the practical implementation of scientific developments. They also noted that the exchange of experience and mutually beneficial projects help use water more rationally and strengthen cooperation in agriculture.
