President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Rafael Santana, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Wabtec.
The parties discussed the renewal and expansion of the locomotive fleet, taking into account the development of the country's railway infrastructure and transit potential.
The agenda also included maintenance in Uzbekistan, production of components, and personnel training. The establishment of a service center for mining equipment used by mining enterprises and cooperation on diesel-generator sets were also discussed.
