Uzbekistan's oil and petroleum product imports increase by 6%

In the first nine months of 2026, gasoline imports rose by 33.6%, while diesel fuel supplies decreased by 19.1%

From January to September 2026, the value of imports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials reached 1.558 billion US dollars. The year-on-year growth amounted to 6.0%, according to data from the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the same period, imports of natural and artificial gas were higher than the previous year. Exports of oil, petroleum products, and similar materials also increased.
